2'DA/NFrom November 19 to 30, JMOD/JSDF conducted Joint Exer-cise, 03JX, in areas such as Tanegashima Island, Tsutarashima Island, SDF facilities and in the sea and airspace surrounding Japan. The following pictures show a part of JSDF activities during the 03JX. JSDF conducted amphibious operation in Tanegashima Island and Tsutarashima Island. Picture 1 shows a landing exercise with JGSDF transport helicopters in Tsutarashima Island. Picture 2 shows a landing exercise with amphibious assault vehicles AAV7 in Tanegashima Island. Picture 3 and 4 show training conducted by JGSDF and JMSDF. In Picture 3, AH-64D, Apache of JGSDF is landing on the JMSDF vessel while patrol helicopter flying over it. In Picture 4, amphibious assault vehicles AAV7 are boarding the landing ship JS Kunisaki of JMSDF.
