Follow us !!On September 30, JMOD/JSDF and the Philippine Air Force (PAF) held an online Subject Matter Expert Exchange in the fields of aviation medicine and aeromedical evacuation. From September 28 to October 8, JGSDF joined the U.S. and Philippines-hosted exercise Kamandag 21 and conducted training for disaster relief and medical evacu-ation with the Philippine Marine Corps. Through this exercise with the Philippine Marine Corps, JGSDF not only improved tactical skills for HA/DR (Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief) but also promoted Japan-Philippines mutual under-standing and cooperation and contributed to uphold and reinforce a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific.”On October 11 and 12, JMSDF joined the U.S. and Philippines-hosted Sama Sama 2021 and exchanged opinions on HA/DR. This year, marking the 65th anniversary of Japan-Philippines friendship, all three services of the SDF (Ground/Maritime/Air) conducted exercises with Philippines! During the seminar, JASDF and PAF shared knowledge and experience about the topics to the benefit of both sides. The Philippines is our important strategic partner sharing common principles and goals.
