6%DB/NFrom October 2 to 4, JMSDF JS Kaga and JS Murasame, visiting the Indo-Pacific region as an Indo-Pacific Deploy-ment unit, called at Port of Colombo, and JS Kaga conduct-ed a training with the Sri Lanka Navy SLNS Sagara on October 4!On October 3, JMSDF conducted verification of takeoff and landing of F-35B on JS Izumo with the assistance of the U.S. JMOD/JSDF will continue to strengthen Japan-U.S. Alliance. Sri Lanka is one of the important countries with its strategic location along the sea lanes in the Indian Ocean.
