4"TF/NFrom May 26th to 29th, JMSDF JS ISE conducted bilateral training with the USS Ronald Reagan, USS Shiloh, and USS Pecos in the eastern waters and airspace of Okinawa. In this training, JMSDF and the U.S. Navy trained procedures for fuel replenishment and information sharing.On June 4, JMSDF JS ATAGO conducted an exercise with electronic warfare aircraft EA-18Gs of the U.S. Navy in and above the Sea of Japan. During this exercise, JMSDF and the U.S. Navy trained air defense procedures for ensuring superiority in electromagnetic domain. Both countries concurred on the importance of strengthen-ing the readiness of SDF and U.S. Forces in Japan through various high-end train-ings, which this exercise embodies.
