Public Relations Activites

In order to deepen the people's understanding and interest in the JASDF, we actively engage in public relations activities such as cooperating in filming TV shows and movies.

Blue Impulse

With the objective of informing large numbers of people about the existence of the force, the JASDF has a special team of pilots who give magnificent aerobatic exhibitions at JASDF airshows and national events. This team is known as the Blue Impulse. Performing astonishing aerial acrobatics in sequence, these exhibitions are sure to amaze first-time spectators. Drawing gasps of excitement and wonder from spectators on the ground, the beautiful and majestic precision flying demonstration has won high praise from inside and outside Japan. With the motto "Challenge for the Creation," the Blue Impulse will continue striving to achieve exhibition flying that offers dreams and excitement to as many people as possible.
