Simulator on Integrated Equipment@Systems

In order to conduct effective R&D, it is crucial to investigate an optimum requirement of each equipment system based on an overall performance as SoS (System of Systems). This is a research on the simulator which can evaluate such an overall performance by creating virtual battle space on computer.
Portable Robot

Recognized is effectiveness of a small-sized and light-weighted robot for defense purpose. The modular mechanism of its mobility / manipulation and the modularity of its control system are key technologies for development of such a robot. This is a tele-operated robot whose size and weight are man-portable. It has a capability to carry out various missions such as reconnaissance inside / around a building, detection / disposal of explosive devices and so on.
Advanced Soldier Combat System

This integrated personal equipment system is researched to systemize electronic equipments and a bullet proof jacket. The system enables infantry to prosecute various missions effectively by sharing the battle field information visually with allies using advanced technologies such as a light weight head mounted display, wearable computer network etc. The photo shows a prototype model.
