The Self Defense Fleet Command conducted a briefing on the JS MOGAMI for Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet.

Commander of U.S. 7th Fleet VADM Kacher participated in a tour of JS MOGAMI hosted by Chief of Staff, Self Defense Fleet Command RADM KAWAMURA.
The tour included a detailed explanation of the FFM's state-of-the-art capabilities, her ability to conduct various operations including unmanned operations, and her decreased radar signature. Through this tour, we were able to further improve the interoperability between the JMSDF and the U.S. Navy.
The Self Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region, not only for the defense of Japan but also for the realization of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” in cooperation with partner and like-minded navies.
