Indian Navy led Multilateral Exercise(MILAN2024)

JS SAZANAMI is currently she is part of the 47th Deployment of the Anti-Piracy Action Surface Force. participating in the multilateral joint exercise MILAN24 hosted by the Indian Navy, Visakhapatnam. In addition the crew sought to enhance mutual understanding and strengthen relations of trust with the navies of participating countries during harbor phase.
VADM SAITO Akira, Commander-in-chief, Self-Defense Fleet, is visiting India as part of in the exercise. And is participating in international maritime seminars and receptions.
Through discussions with bellow Chiefs of Naval Staff, VADM SAITO shared Japan's position and values regarding national security. and promoted mutual understanding and friendship.
The Self-Defense Fleet contributes to the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region and the international community by maintaining readiness and making every possible effort to defend Japan. By working with allies and partners self-defense fleet helps comrades to realize a "free and open Indo-Pacific" to create a security environment that does not tolerate unilateral changes to the status quo by force.
