Visitation to Maritime Operations Center by Commander of Indonesian Fleet.

Commander of the Indonesian Naval Fleet, Vice Admiral Herru Kusmanto visited Commander in Chief of the Self Defense Fleet, Vice Admiral SAITO Akira in Maritime Operation Center.
During the discussion, the two admirals agreed to further strengthen defense exchanges between the JMSDF and Indonesian navy in various opportunities such as the Indo-Pacific Deployment (IPD) and Overseas Training Cruise, and to further deepen personnel exchanges through the Ship-rider Program and other programs.
The Self-Defense Fleet maintains responsiveness, safeguards the peace and defense of Japan, continues to integrate with allied and like-minded navies and contributes to the stability in the Indo-Pacific region in order to realize a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific.”
