JS YUDACHI conducted Japan-U.S. bilateral exercise with USS ROBERT SMALLS.

On 21 September, JS YUDACHI conducted Japan-U.S. bilateral exercise with USS ROBERT SMALLS in Sagami Bay.
The Commanding Officer of JS YUDACHI, Commander MURAKOSHI Yuki said, "Through this exercise, we have improved the technical capabilities of both the U.S. and Japan. We maintain a strong partnership with the U.S. Navy and are ready to respond to any situation at any time."
The Self Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region, not only for the defense of Japan but also for the realization of a "Free and Open Indo-Pacific" in cooperation with allied and like-minded navies.
