Commander in Chief, Self-Defense Fleet presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Commodore Clifford W. Toraason, Commander, Task Force Seven Two.

On July 11, Commander in chief, Self-Defense Fleet, Vice Admiral SAITO Akira, presented a certificate of appreciation to Commodore Clifford W. Toraason, Commander, Task Force Seven Two, U.S. SEVENTH Fleet.
Commodore Toraason significantly contributed to strengthening the cooperative relationship between the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force and the United States Navy with a deep understanding and thoughtful consideration toward the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
The Self-Defense Fleet works closely with the U.S. SEVENTH Fleet on a regular basis to contribute to peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region for the defense of our nation and the realization of a "Free and Open Indo-Pacific."
