Commander in Chief, Self-Defense Fleet presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Captain Jeffry Yackeren, U.S. Navy.

On April 10, Commander in chief, Self-Defense Fleet, Vice Admiral SAITO Akira, presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Captain Jeffry Yackeren, Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations, U.S. Seventh Fleet.
Since his appointment in March 2022, Captain Jeffry Yackeren significantly contributed to the interoperability between Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Self Defense Fleet and U.S. Seventh Fleet with a strong sense of responsibility, wealth of experience and insight, and forward-thinking mindset.
Self-Defense Fleet works closely with the U.S. seventh Fleet on a regular basis to contribute to peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region for the defense of our nation and the realization of "Free and Open Indo-Pacific."
