Commander of the Self-Defense Fleet presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the Seventh Fleet Captain Adam Jonson, U.S. Navy.

On March 16, Commander of the Self-Defense Fleet, Vice Admiral SAITO Akira, presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Captain Adam Johnson, the Assistant Chief of Staff for Intelligence, the Seventh Fleet, U.S. Navy.
Since his appointment in November 2019, Captain Johnson has worked together with the Japanese partner, Staff of Intelligence Division, Self-Defense Fleet, to ensure strong partnership in each intelligence section of the U.S. Naval Force and JMSDF.
The Self-Defense Fleet works closely with the U.S. seventh Fleet on a regular basis to contribute to peace and stability together in the Indo-Pacific region for the defense of our nation and the realization of "Free and Open Indo-Pacific."
