JS SUZUTSUKI participated in a multinational exercise (La Perouse 23) .

From March 13 to 14, 2023, JS SUZUTSUKI participated in Japan, French, U.S., Australia, India, U.K., Canada, NewZealand multinational exercise (La Perouse 23) in Sri Lanka Eastern Sea Airspace.
La Perouse 23 is a multinational exercise conducted by French Navy. JMSDF has participated every time since 2019 to improve our tactical capabilities and strengthen cooperation with the participating navies.
Self Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region, not only for the defense of Japan but also for the realization of a "Free and Open Indo-Pacific" in cooperation with allied and like-minded navies.
