JS SUZUTSUKI participated in a multinational exercise (AMAN23) conducted by the Pakistan Navy.

From February 9 to 14, 2023, JS SUZUTSUKI participated in a multinational exercise (AMAN23) in the North Arabian Sea. Through this exercise, it improved its tactical capabilities and deepened relationship with and mutual understanding of the participating navies.
AMAN23 is a multinational exercise conducted by the Pakistan Navy every two years. The JMSDF has participated since 2009 to strengthen cooperation with the Pakistan Navy and the participating navies.
The Self-Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region, not only for the defense of Japan but also for the realization of a "Free and Open Indo-Pacific" in cooperation with allied and friendly navies.
