JS SAMIDARE conducted JMSDF-French navy PASSEX with FS SURCOUF in the Gulf of Aden

On May 1, JS SAMIDARE conducted a JMSDF-French navy PASSEX with FS SURCOUF in the Gulf of Aden.
The Japanese commander of the Escort Division 4, Captain TAKAHASHI Hideaki, said, “Through this exercise, we enhanced our tactical skills and cooperation, and deepened mutual understanding and friendship between JMSDF and the French Navy. The French Navy is an important partner of the “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” and I felt very reassured conducting this exercise together.”
