JS URAGA and JS HIRADO, conducted bilateral exercise with SLNS SINDURALA

On February 28, JS URAGA and JS HIRADO, engaged in the 2021 Indo-Pacific Area Dispatch Exercise (IMED21), conducted a Japan-Sri Lanka goodwill exercise with　SLNS SINDURALA in Colombo to enhance their tactical skills, friendship and mutual understanding with the Sri Lankan Navy.
Despite COVID-19, the unit conducts the IMED21 by taking all possible measures to prevent infection and making the best use of the flexibility and mobility that are the characteristics of the Navy.
The Self-Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region with friendly nations navy.
