Under the vison of FOIP, this exercise demonstrated both countries’ concurred resolution in a tangible way of enhanc-ing regular bilateral and multilateral cooperative activities in the Indo-Pacific to maintain a free and open, secure, inclusive and prosperous region. Japan strategically promotes the multi-faceted security cooperation and coordination, centering on Japan-U.S. alliance and closely cooperating with the countries which share the fundamental values.
