On March 31st, Defense Minister Kihara received a courtesy call from Congressional Delegation led by Senator Gillibrand from the United States. Defense Minister Kihara welcomed the delegation, and they discussed a variety of topics including measures to strengthen the Japan-U.S. Alliance. They also confirmed the importance of public understanding for further enhancing the Alliance.
