The site of Ichigaya area is about three times as large as that Hinoki-machi
area (about 57.5 acres).
There are facilities necessary to accommodate 10,000 works
including uniform personnel living in this area.
At the front, Building A is in the center and Building
B, Building D, and Building E are arranged symmetrically.
On the north side, barracks, a welfare building, and an
athletic field are located.

The area which the martyr to duty
cenotaph of the Self Defense Forces is built is called the Memorial
Zone. |

The core functions of national defense are concentrated. Minister of State for Defense, Internal Chiefs of Joint, Ground, Maritime and Air Staff, Defense Intelligence Headquarters, all of them have offices in this building. |
This building is used by Central Communication Command and other
communications units of the three services. |

This building is used by Defense Intelligence Headquarters and other intelligence units of the three services. |
There are Technical Research & Development Institute, Central Contract Office, and Defense Facilities Administration Agency. |

There are support units for Internal Bureau and Staff Offices of three services, various project teams and conference rooms. |
There is about 36 feet high difference and about 330 yards distance the main gate and buildings, outdoor escalator is installed. |

Barracks has private rooms (room for 2 sergeants and room for
3 privates) for uniformed personnel who live and work in the site.

This hall is part of Building No.1 which is used to be locates at the place of Building A. The building No.1 was constructed for Army Cadet School in 1937 and used for Tokyo Trial since 1946. Panorama
