The Japanese edition of the defense white paper.
The Japanese edition of the defense white paper.
The 2008 defense white paper (in Japanese) was published on September 5. One feature is a section devoted to reforms of the MOD. The English version, titled the Defense of Japan, is scheduled to be published shortly. A tentative translation may be viewed at the MOD website (www.mod.go.jp/e/publ/w_paper).
