Achievements of Transport Activities for the UN by JASDF Iraqi Reconstruction Assistance Air Transport Squadron

 On March 3, 2004, the JASDF squadron dispatched in accordance with the Law Concerning Special Measures on Humanitarian and Reconstruction Assistance in Iraq started airlifting supplies for humanitarian and reconstruction assistance, etc. by C-130 aircraft between airfields in Iraq, based in a Kuwait airport and has continued the activities after the GSDF withdrawal from Iraq.
JASDF started airlift activities for the UN on September 6, 2006. The data of the airlift achievements is to be released on quarter basis.
