Base Introduction

@The Kyogamisaki Sub Air Base is located at the tip of the Tango peninsula which is at the northern end of Kyoto Prefecture which environment is typical Japan sea unique characteristic; its coastline mountain ranges, the Ria cliff, the clear ocean, and the silver sand beach, in such a mysterious place of scenic beauty. We have been experienced many changes to reach today's our strength since 1957.

@Our base is separated into two regions: the Office Buildings Area and the radar area which is located at the peak of the Dakesan Mountain (451m above) which is about 5.5km apart from the Office Building Area.

@As guardians of the sky above the Sea of japan, soldiers are always on duty around-the-clock long in cooperation with neighboring sites.
@Along with of all sections, from whithin a dark room, the Surveillance section operates radar to detect and track aircrafts24/7.
